Tonight we used this video from the David Crowder* Band to discuss dealing with trials, tragedies, and losses and how God can work in those moments.
God does not cause bad things or evil to happen. However, God can work in those moments to help us grow in our faith and wisdom. It's easier said then done. It can be difficult to have peace as we think we know what our needs and wants and plans should be instead of relying on God to reveal them to us.
Paul learned this and praised God during difficult trials while he was in prison. We read this passage from Romans as part of our discussion. It is encouraging to know as Christians that God has glory enstored for us and that the Holy Spirit is praying for us!
