November Calendar

Don't miss out on November 10 as we participate in Operation Christmas Child - making sure we provide a Christmas present and an opportunity for others to learn the true meaning of Christmas and the miracle of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Trinity Park Youth will be participating in Operation Christmas Child, which is a project sponsored by Franklin Graham’s charitable organization, Samaritan’s Purse. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is “to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

We each pack a shoebox full of gifts (crayons, coloring books, toys, hygiene items, etc) for a child from another country that doesn’t get anything for Christmas.

Part of giving involves sacrifice and we’ll be skipping our fast food for 2 weeks to save money to fill these shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, hard candy, clothes, etc! Last year the youth made 15 shoeboxes and Trinity Park as a whole provided 60 shoeboxes! See last year's jam packed collection of boxes in the back of Mary Ellen's Minivan!

Wed – Nov 3rd - We’ll provide free Subs and chips so you can save your money!
Wed – Nov 10th – Shopping & Wrapping of Shoebox. We’ll pray that each shoebox touches a child’s life.

Estimated cost of a shoebox is $10-$12. We’ll go to the Dollar Tree where you can get 10-12 items for your shoebox! It also costs $7 per box to ship these across the world. IF you feel you want to pay for the shipping that would be greatly appreciated, but not necessary. So, for $20 you can give a child a Christmas that he would’ve never imagined! DON’T FORGET TO BRING IN a shoebox with a detached lid as well!
