Momentum Week 3

For our final talk on Momentum, we looked at Acts 2:42-47Some of the first Christians after Jesus' ascension into heaven made an effort to live in community, in fellowship, and in humble service to God.

Our key word was: Ownership

In Acts 2 (the early beginnings of the church) everyone made the effort to work together, to care for others, and to put the needs of others before their own needs!

Ownership means we are taking steps towards a greater goal. Everyone is actively participating. We aren't just part of the crowd. We each have a unique role.

Everyone who regularly attends Connexion (our youth group at Trinity Park) should take ownership and work for our five causes: to invite, unite, grow, serve, and lead!!!

An overview of momentum:
First Week - Momentum will leave a taste in your mouth…make sure it is the flavor you want
Second Week - Change in Momentum can give you a Fresh Start
Third Week - Momentum starts before you move. Take ownership in your decisions.
