Last Wednesday Recap & Facebook Group Info

Great conversations last Wednesday!

We only do the “good stuff” (attending church, youth group, giving to others, community service, obeying parents, etc) because our hearts motivate us to out of Jesus’ love. We can’t get right with God through deeds (See James 2:17-20), but only through faith that Jesus Christ is our Savior and we accept his Grace that we can be saved by asking forgiveness of our sins and that God would live and work in us.

God gave us an undeserved gift in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. That should humble and motivate us!

God came to us so that we could be right with him through acceptance of this gift. All other religions believe we have to earn our way to God. Big difference!!!

We wrote letters to God focusing on being right with him, calling on Him to use us, that love would lead us in helping others, and that we could share God’s love.
