Operation Christmas Chid

Trinity Park Youth will be participating in Operation Christmas Child, which is a project sponsored by Franklin Graham’s charitable organization, Samaritan’s Purse. The mission of Operation Christmas Child is “to demonstrate God's love in a tangible way to needy children around the world, and together with the local church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.”

We each pack a shoebox full of gifts for a child from another country that doesn’t get anything for Christmas.

Part of giving involves sacrifice and we’ll be skipping our fast food for 2 weeks to save money to fill these shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, hygiene items, hard candy, clothes, etc!

Wed - Nov 4th - We’ll provide free Pizza so you can save your money!
Wed - Nov 11th - Shopping & Wrapping of Shoebox. We’ll pray that each shoebox touches a child’s life and we’ll take communion together as we thank God for his many blessings! Eat before you come...

Estimated cost of a shoebox is $10-$12. We’ll go to the Dollar Tree where you can get 10-12 items for your shoebox! It also costs $7 per box to ship these across the world. IF you feel you want to pay for the shipping that would be greatly appreciated, but not necessary. So, for $20 you can give a child a Christmas that he would’ve never imagined! DON’T FORGET TO BRING IN a shoebox with a detached lid as well!

Here are a couple videos to about Operation Christmas Child.
