30 Hour Famine Recap

This past weekend was our 30 Hour Famine, with 4 other local churches.

We raised money and awareness to help solve world hunger and poverty.

Here's a few ways we did this:
*Didn't eat for 30 hours to experience a small sample of hunger (hence the name 30 hour famine).
*Concert fundraiser by Sevenglory and other fundraisers.
*Built cardboard houses to gain a grasp of housing conditions in underdeveloped countries
*Served Indy and our local community through a variety of service projects
*5 Rotation stations that helped us understand poverty issues in our community and around the world

*It was fun...and we got in plenty of dodgeball and capture the flag. Enjoy the pix - click to enlarge.
